Unknown Depth

Depression is an unknown depth.
There should be an ending
But somedays it feels
Like there is no end in the falling.

There your mind begins to think of thoughts
Of killing yourself.
Of hurting yourself.
And life is worthless of yourself.

The more you fall into the depths
The harder it is to climb out
To make yourself feel better
But there is a way out.

The way out is by
Talking to others about your problems
And if the first person won't listen,
Keep telling others because soon it won't a problem.

Someone is willing to help you
And get back on solid ground.
There may be falls
But someone will be around.

Grab the helping hand before it disappears,
Because another hand
May not come for a while
To get you back on solid ground.
