Giving In

she is standing at the water's edge
the water is beaconing for her to come closer.
she takes a step closer to the edge
eventhough she doesn't know how to swim
she is drawn to the water.
she doesn't see any hope for the future
and she sees that she is worthless.
she doesn't have anyone to help her out
and she knows the only answer is suicide.
she has contemplated suicide for a long time.
the dawn of a new morning has broken
she doesn't want to see the day last.
she steps into the pool of water
and doesn't struggle when she can't swim.
gives into the water
she gives into death.
has given into the world.
