I See . . .

I see you there
All curled up in a gown.
I see you there
Sitting with an ugly frown.

You don't look good
All by your lonesome self,
You don't look good
So I come by myself.

Your heart is turning
On way, then another,
Your heart is turning
So you tell me your bothers.

I see your anguish
"Tell me your sorrows."
I see your anguish
Of the coming tomorrows.

I see a brighter future
With many accomplishments.
I see a brighter future
With memorable moments.

I see your hands
They're like mine.
I see your feet
They are mine.

I see the person is me
I see the anguish is mine.
I see the person is me
I see the future is mine.

I see I have to get moving
And get on with my life.
I see I have to get moving
And create a new life.

I see the future
Is in my hands.
I see the future
Is in all the lands.
